Tyler Lynch-Peña (born December 1999), known professionally as TMoneyBeats, is a Mexican-American record producer, songwriter, and entrepreneur. He is most known for his remix of "The Race", which features a melancholy sampled-based trap instrumental produced by himself, behind the original "Tay-K - The Race" acapella. As of August 2021, the video has accumulated over a quarter million views on YouTube, as well as hundreds of thousands more on other streaming platforms.Lynch-Peña was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, and has been producing Hip Hop and Reggaetón music since the age of 16.
He began making Lo-fi hip hop beats, but eventually branched out and now produces various different styles of instrumentals and remixes on his YouTube channel and streaming services. His stage name,
"TMoneyBeats", derives from his childhood nickname, "T-Money", which was given to him at a young age by peers and coaches around the AAU Basketball circuit.In 2019, TMoneyBeats posted "Tay K's The Race but it's in a sad tone" on his YouTube channel, which is his most viewed project to date. The track is one of the most famous remixes of the song, "Tay-K - The Race", and gained attention in early 2021 after the remix was shared and used on various social media sites such as TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
